Job summary

Our Client in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer II for its O’Fallon, MO and hybrid work location. You will design components, translate requirements into tasks, and deliver modular, scalable, and high‑performing software.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross‑functional teams, researching new frameworks, and participating in code reviews to ensure quality and reliability in production. Strong emphasis on SOLID, TDD, and cloud‑ready architectures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Hands on experience in building complex and highly scalable and performing systems.
• Solid understanding and hands‑on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, RESTful web services and JPA.
• Experience building AI assisted applications and agentic workflow systems is a plus.
• Exposure to Cloud/ microservices and continuous integration/deployment practices.

Job description

Our Client, a Credit Card company, is looking for a Software Engineer II for their O'Fallon, MO/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

• Design components by translating product requirements, break down project into tasks and provide accurate estimates
• Independently come up with different solutions, extensible Low level design. Write modular, extensible, readable and performant code
• Choose the right Data Structures, tools and tech stacks and be able to do High Level Designing with guidance
• Research new frameworks and technologies, assist with prototyping and proof-of-concepts, participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with teams by contributing to the shared vision and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders
• You will be responsible for the components you (and or your team) build and will support them till the time they are live in production

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Ability to build rapport and relationships
• Someone understanding the concept of operations first, focusing on usability, operability of applications from the get go
• Problem solver and solution‑seeking approach
• Hands on experience in building complex and highly scalable and performing systems

• You have experience in building AI assisted application, autonomous and semi‑autonomous agents and agentic workflow systems that coordinate multi‑step tasks.
• Strong belief in continuous refactoring and adhering to S.O.L.I.D design principles.
