The Software Engineer I provides application software development services typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications. Analyzes requirements, tests and integrates application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient (Agile) development environment.
This is an entry-level professional position which requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline. Accomplishes straightforward, relatively simple tasks using defined procedures. Receives instruction, guidance, or direction from more senior level roles. This is a hybrid position that requires regular on-site presence at Cincinnati Children's. Candidates must be able to work both remotely and on-site as business needs require.
