BTS Software Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Software Engineer Skill Level 1 to support Department of War IC missions. The role involves developing, testing, and integrating software across processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems, with emphasis on design adherence and problem resolution.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and seven years of SWE experience (or four years additional experience in lieu of a degree).

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• Seven years of SWE experience is required.
• Four additional years of SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in areas related to IC mission goals is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the project.
