Job summary

CACI has an opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a team in the Ft. Meade area, focusing on the Data Transport System (DTS). You will develop, maintain and enhance complex software, including large-scale data processing and real-time analytics, in a Linux environment.

Required are TS/SCI with polygraph, 4–10 years SWE experience, and strong Java/J2EE fundamentals, plus Spring, REST and container tech. The role supports DoD, IC and federal partners with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 4–10 years SWE experience in programs with similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience in RESTful services and containers (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), Java, Java EE, SSL and file encryption, LDAP, Linux, Agile Scrum.
• 1–4 years programming in Linux/Unix/Windows environments.
• 2–4 years writing/maintaining software in Java or GoLang (note: 2–4 years in Java or GoLang).
• 1–2 years of experience with the Spring Framework.
• 1 year experience providing/using RESTful interfaces.
• 2–4 years using CM tools (Git, CVS).
• CWIP Requirements: IAM Level I Certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Provide application development in high-performance, multi-threaded, distributed environments.
• Work with enterprise-grade/server-side JAVA.
