Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Development Engineer to support our Radar Product Line Team in a real-time embedded software development capacity. The role requires designing, coding, testing, and documenting software solutions across embedded and application domains.

The position requires U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Onsite work at the Woburn, MA facility is expected, with collaboration across engineering teams and project managers.

Qualifications

What You Will Do:

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, architectures, software development life cycle and processes.
• Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation, and the desire to learn new technologies and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably Agile/SCRUM, DevOps and test automation.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
