RTX is seeking a Test Equipment Engineer intern to join the Test Equipment Engineering team in Tucson, AZ. You will contribute to designing and integrating test interfaces and software for Raytheon products, working on both lab and factory environments.

You will develop in C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams within Agile and Waterfall lifecycles. Relocation eligibility is offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start
  • Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio

Test Equipment Engineering is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. Typical work involves designing test interfaces, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, to develop a test system for all Raytheon products. These core activities may be performed for both lab engineering and factory production test systems. The candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development and will be responsible for helping to maintain the technical, cost and schedule aspects of their assigned projects. They will be expected to act, either as a part of their team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.

Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
