TechTwitter.io is hiring a Software Engineer I to ship full-stack features across our platform with a small, senior team in the United States. You will contribute to multiple surfaces, including the R&D credit platform, agriculture incentives, corporate tax and compliance, and the agent infrastructure that powers them.

Onshore builds AI-native tax software for the people who build America. Farmers, manufacturers, and founders do the R&D that moves this country forward — and most never get the credit they've earned. We're fixing that: our agents do the analysis that used to take CPAs weeks, our experts review it, and our customers get their money back. We started with R&D tax credits and are expanding into agricultural incentives, corporate tax returns, and other tax incentives. We're hiring a Software Engineer I to ship product across the platform and grow fast alongside a small, senior team.

What you'll do

• Ship full-stack features across our Vite + React frontend (shadcn, Tailwind) and TypeScript backend (Bun, Hono, SST v3 on AWS).
• Contribute across our four product surfaces: the core R&D credit platform, agriculture incentives, corporate tax and compliance, and the agentic infrastructure that powers all of them.
• Work with AI-powered data pipelines — document extraction, RAG over tax authority, and agent workflows built on frontier models.
• Learn from senior engineers through tight code review and pairing, and take on increasing ownership as you ramp.

Our stack

• TypeScript end-to-end — Bun + Hono services, Vite + React (shadcn, Tailwind) on the front.
• SST v3 on AWS: Lambda, ECS/Fargate, SQS, Step Functions.
• Aurora Postgres with Drizzle ORM, Pinecone for RAG, Clerk for auth.
• Frontier LLMs powering extraction, analysis, and agent workflows.

You should have

• 0–2 years of professional experience (internships and serious side projects count).
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript or a similar language, and hunger to learn the rest.
• A bias toward shipping and pride in your craft.

Compensation $135k base - Equity + full benefits
