Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Maryland is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, sustain, and troubleshoot the GHOSTGEM software suite for mission-critical government projects. You will implement, test, and integrate with COTS and FOSS components, leveraging Java, Spring, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS and at least 2 years of related experience, plus TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science.
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience.
• Security clearance required: TS/SCI w/ polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications.
• Implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.
• Collaborate on containerization, CI/CD, and IaC practices with modern toolchains.
