Job summary

GHOSTGEM seeks a Software Engineer to develop, sustain, and troubleshoot its suite of applications with disciplined craftsmanship. You will contribute to a mix of COTS and open-source components, delivering reliable software in fast-paced sprints.

Ideal candidates are proficient with Linux, Java, Spring, and modern DevOps tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and comfortable working across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Linux CLI proficiency.
• Bash and Python scripting.
• Recent Java development experience.
• Spring Framework experience (Boot/Data/Integration).
• MongoDB NoSQL experience.
• Containerization with Docker.
• Kubernetes orchestration knowledge.
• Messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• CI/CD with Bamboo or GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot software across a mix of COTS and FOSS components.
• Integrate code into a scalable deployment with reliable pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth deployments and uptime.
• Maintain and evolve software with automated testing and CI/CD processes.
