CoStar Group is seeking a Software Engineer I to contribute to CoStar Suite web applications in Arlington, VA. The role emphasizes rapid delivery, learning new technologies, and collaborating across teams to ship features used by thousands of users globally.

You will work onsite Monday-Thursday with the option to work from home on Friday, gaining exposure to AWS, AI-powered features, and a strong CI/CD culture within a leading CRE data platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, in-person university or college.
• 2+ years of production development experience with modern technologies (React/Vue/TypeScript/NodeJS/C#/ .NET).
• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and Continuous delivery.
• Experience in unit, performance, and automation testing.
• Experience leveraging AI to improve productivity.
• Understanding of business drivers for the software you build.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high performance web applications used by thousands of users globally.
• Drive continuous improvement with a focus on engineering excellence.
• Influence CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Collaborate with other Software Engineers across the organization.
• Mentor junior developers; review code and architecture; promote best practices.
• Continually evaluate emerging technologies for opportunities and best practices.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the CRE industry and CoStar’s business model.
