Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Software Engineer on the Platform Development team in Arlington, VA (in-office Mon-Thu, remote Fridays). You will build distributed, API-driven systems, design AI-powered solutions, and integrate intelligent workflows across CoStar brands using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and AWS.

Strong knowledge of REST, data modeling, and cloud platforms is required. The role focuses on observability, telemetry, and proactive diagnostics to improve reliability while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of deep .NET (C#) development experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• RESTful web services and ASP.NET MVC experience.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems in Agile.

Responsibilities

• Build big, distributed, API-driven systems for tens of thousands of users.
• Design and implement AI-powered software to enhance customer experience and product capabilities.
• Integrate AI skills, agents, tools, and workflows into internal systems and customer apps.
• Produce robust, maintainable code using C#, .NET, SQL Server, AWS.
• Drive software design, development standards, and code reviews.
