Job summary

DiSTI Corporation, located near the University of Central Florida, is an industry leader in GUI software and 3D training solutions. This onsite role in Orlando involves hands-on software development, collaborating with local and remote teams on new products and features.

You will design, implement, and test software to meet customer requirements, while leveraging new ideas to improve processes and code quality.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, related degree, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience developing software using C++.
• Experience with build configuration, SVN, and Jira is required.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, Mac and/or embedded systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working with supervision, candidate plans, designs, develops, tests, and documents software for new products, new features, customer demonstrations, and program development.
• Implements software in accordance with customer requirements and design constraints.
• Leads a small development team or actively participates as part of a development team.
• Uses technical innovations to improve individual and team processes and code development.
• Develops new business leads.
• Makes innovative team contributions that improve the overall team performance and improve customer satisfaction.

• Working with supervision, candidate plans, designs, develops, tests, and documents software for new products, new features, customer demonstrations, and program development.
• Implements software in accordance with customer requirements and design constraints.
• Leads a small development team or actively participates as part of a development team.

• Develops new business leads.

• Continuously learns new concepts and becomes recognized as an expert in certain domains.
• Leverages AI to gain efficiencies in performing tasks

Physical and Other Requirements
