Job summary

Jamf, a leader in Apple device management, seeks a Software Engineer I to join a collaborative agile team. You will build tools to help organizations succeed with Apple, learn design practices, and partner with experienced engineers and product leadership to solve real problems.

This role is remote in Minneapolis, MN; Eau Claire, WI; or Austin, TX metro areas, with occasional on-site moments. At Jamf you’ll work in a fast-paced environment that values trust, respect, and impact.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes (Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in Python or other relevant programming languages and tools based on position requirements (Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience developing on AWS (Preferred).
  • Understanding of build systems such as AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild (Preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, others to enhance development productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Independently complete a majority of identified tasks from start to finish with high quality and collaborate with more experienced Engineers when needed.
  • Efficiently use available tools with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates solid understanding of Engineering best practices.
  • Ask the right questions, solve problems and build great software solutions.

What you'll do at Jamf:

The Software Engineer I is responsible for building tools required to help organizations succeedwithApple.Workcloselywiththeagileteamtolearntheappropriatedesignsand practices to build Jamf products.

CollaboratewithexperiencedEngineers,ProductManagementandleadershipto understand priorities and how those help us solve problems.

This role if offered as remote in Minneapolis, MN; Eau Claire, WI; or Austin, TX metro areas. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications for those based in one of these locations.

What we are looking for:

  • 2 year / Associates (Required).
  • 4 year / Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
  • A combination of relevant experience andeducation may be considered.
