Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for HITL work supporting high-assurance flight-system software. You will design, develop, test, and own features in a scalable application used to control and test flight subsystems.

Aerospace experience is not required; we value smart, motivated engineers who tackle complex challenges and follow software best practices. Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software development in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• 3+ years of experience with automated HITL/HOOTL testing.
• 3+ years of experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong software design and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing for HITL and HOOTL software to ensure deliverables meet criteria and constraints.
• Develop full-stack solutions to manage automated testing of vehicle subsystems using simulation and flight software.
• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD infrastructure.
• Maintain high standards of excellence and continuous improvement.
