Job summary

DCCA, a veteran-owned IT services company based in Maryland, is seeking a Software Engineer with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. The role involves analyzing production issues, coordinating resolutions, and collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology teams.

Candidates should have extensive experience in Java EE, Spring, REST, and related technologies, plus strong communication skills and a solid foundation in enterprise web solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with multi-tier, enterprise web-based solutions
• Strong RESTful API design and integration skills
• Ability to query relational databases for production analysis
• Experience collaborating in Agile teams and communicating with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Analyze production issues and determine root cause
• Coordinate resolution of production issues
• Communicate with Business and Technology stakeholders
• Document root cause and knowledge base for production support
• Participate in User Acceptance and End to End testing
• Support production systems and new development across teams
• Contribute to continuous process improvement
• Manage service delivery governance for core application development
• Establish and manage application health checks in production environments
