Job summary

Stone seeks an experienced Go backend engineer to develop and evolve APIs and workers for a financial gateway. You will contribute to authentication flows, security, and high-availability edge services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Go development in production.
• Solid knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, mTLS and certificate management.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis.
• Automated testing and CI/CD best practices.
• Ability to contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Go development in production, focused on high-criticality services
• Solid knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, mTLS and certificate management
• Strong security focus: secrets management, encryption, API hardening
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis
• Automated testing and CI/CD best practices
• Ability to contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews and technical mentoring

Preferred Qualifications

• API Gateway architecture experience (routing, rate limiting, proxying); Kong is a plus
• AWS experience (ECS, EKS, RDS, ElastiCache)
• GitOps and ArgoCD experience
• Interest in financial markets or payment systems
