Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring a full stack software development engineer for the Checkout experience used by hundreds of millions of customers globally. You will join a core team building the high-scale Checkout platform, delivering enterprise-grade backend features, collaborating with product managers and UX researchers to raise quality and speed across the customer journey.

You will work in an Agile environment, design robust architectures, and own the software you and your team create

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to design and code right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work with other team members to develop the architecture and design of new and current systems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software.
• Embracing operational excellence and win customer trust.
• Increase the speed of implementation of backend features by identifying and mitigating design risks early.
• Own what you and your team creates.
