Job summary

AWS Global Accelerator Data Plane team is seeking software engineers to solve distributed systems and networking problems, delivering new features while maintaining a Tier-0 global service. You will work on a packet processor that routes and load-balances traffic at AWS edge locations.

You should have a strong background in computer networking and C/C++ (systems-level). Knowledge of DPDK and NGINX is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong background in computer networking and systems-level programming.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and performance tuning.
• Experience with networking protocols and low-latency software.

Responsibilities

• Design new systems from scratch or improve existing systems and own technical direction from start to finish.
• Mentor and guide team members to solve complex problems with simple solutions.
• Drive availability and performance improvements for the AWS Global Accelerator Data Plane.
• Develop high quality, testable software and participate in code reviews.
