Netflix is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to advance its Ads Platform Foundations. You will design core primitives, define APIs/SDKs, and drive the memory and retrieval subsystems that power enterprise-grade agent workloads.

You’ll collaborate with Ads teams to shape roadmaps and ensure reliability across the platform. You will lead the evolution of non-coding use cases, build scalable orchestration, and contribute to cutting-edge GenAI-enabled advertising tech.

Qualifications

Real, hands-on GenAI experience in enterprise contexts - not coding assistants or developer tools.
Experience building platforms, frameworks, or SDKs consumed by other engineering teams.
Demonstrated high shipping velocity with new systems.

Responsibilities

Design and build core platform primitives and agent/skill infra used by other teams.
Define APIs/SDKs and integration patterns for non-coding use cases.
Build and iterate on tool/calling framework, orchestration, memory, and retrieval subsystems.
Explore entity/knowledge graphs as a shared grounding layer.
Partner with domain teams to shape platform roadmap.
Own platform reliability and observability tooling.
Ship fast from prototype to platform primitive adopted by teams.
