Job summary

Provisions Group is seeking a Software Developer to join a collaborative technology team building and supporting custom software applications. You will own projects from requirements through deployment, working with analysts, IT leadership, and other teams.

You will design, develop, and maintain solutions across server and user-facing components, participate in Agile planning, and mentor junior developers while promoting best practices and reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, MVC, TypeScript, Angular, and Web API.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational DBs.
• Experience using Git and/or TFS for source control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated deployment tools (Octopus Deploy).
• Experience in an Agile software development environment.
• Understanding of availability, disaster recovery, and high availability design.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom applications and solutions.
• Build server-side and user-facing components across projects.
• Participate in Agile planning, code reviews, and project activities.
• Manage multiple projects with priorities and deadlines.
• Follow software engineering practices including automated testing and TDD where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes.
• Contribute to testing, defect resolution, and production support.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Assist with system availability, DR, and resilience initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior developers when needed.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and other teams on architectural decisions.
