Evlo AI in Washington, DC is seeking a software engineer to build and maintain full-stack systems that power thousands of users daily, spanning backend services, web frontends, and the infrastructure that connects them.

You will work across the stack in a product-focused team, collaborating with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to take features from design to production without handoffs or gatekeepers.

Formación

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or a similar typed language across both backend and frontend codebases.
• Hands-on experience with React (or Vue/Svelte) and modern state management patterns.
• Solid backend fundamentals: API design, relational databases (PostgreSQL), caching, authentication, and async processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployment workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; track record of owning features end-to-end.
• Bonus: Kubernetes, React Native or Swift/Kotlin, product-led startup experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, owning delivery from API design to production UI
• Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs backed by PostgreSQL and Redis, with attention to performance, pagination, and schema design
• Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces in React with modern tooling (Vite, Next.js, Tailwind CSS), maintaining strong Lighthouse scores and WCAG compliance
• Write integration and end-to-end tests using Jest, Playwright, or equivalent, and maintain CI pipelines in GitHub Actions
• Instrument services with structured logging, tracing, and metrics (Datadog or similar) to support observability and on-call readiness
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design docs; mentor mid-level engineers on the team
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and deployment workflows in Docker and Kubernetes-based environments

The role builds and maintains full-stack systems that ship user-facing products used by thousands of customers daily - spanning backend services, web frontends, and the infrastructure that connects them.

The engineer will work across the stack in a product-oriented team, collaborating directly with designers, product managers, and other engineers to take features from design to production without handoffs or gatekeepers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, owning delivery from API design to production UI

What We Are Looking For
