Job summary

Evlo AI seeks an experienced software engineer to own end-to-end development of high-throughput web and mobile applications. You will build user-facing features and resilient backend services that serve millions of active users daily.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior platform engineers to ship reliable, scalable, and performant software across the technology stack. Expect a focus on code quality, testing, and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience building complex full-stack web applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and CSS/HTML5
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL optimization, and caching layers such as Redis
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Experience with React Native for mobile development, GraphQL federation, or event-driven architectures using Kafka

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL
• Develop and optimize robust backend microservices, RESTful APIs, and relational database schemas in PostgreSQL
• Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces adhering to modern web and mobile design standards
• Write comprehensive automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Cypress, and Testing Library
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous integration pipeline improvements using GitHub Actions
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve bottlenecks using Datadog and AWS CloudWatch
