Meet the Team

The Cisco threat detection and response engineering team is seeking a collaborative Software Engineer passionate about security. You will be crucial in developing and expanding a cloud-based product that enhances security with MS365, protecting end users from phishing, malware, and spam. Your focus will be on creating solutions and tests that emphasize simplicity, usability, and customer delight, maximizing our product’s value through quality.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; at least 1 year of front-end web development and 3 years of total software development experience
• Experience with JavaScript and modern libraries like React
• Proficiency in CSS/SASS, HTML, and converting mockups into production code
• Experience ensuring code quality with tools like Jest, ESLint, or SonarQube
• Experience building responsive SPAs and integrating with RESTful APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with Redux and Next.js
• Understanding of UX design principles
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and cross-functional collaboration
• Knowledge of secure coding practices
• Commitment to continuous learning and technology trends
