Job summary

Bot Auto is shaping autonomous trucking by building systems that connect vehicles, cloud infrastructure, data, ML, and fleet operations. We seek curious engineers to work on full-stack, distributed systems, data processing, ML infra, and tooling.

You'll collaborate with experienced engineers, translate real-world needs into dependable software, and grow across multiple technical domains as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–3 years professional software engineering exposure; new grads welcome.
• Proficient in at least one major language (Python/Go/TS/Java/JavaScript/C++).
• Solid fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, debugging, testing, source control.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software features under guidance.
• Build user-facing apps, backend services, APIs, data pipelines, or internal tools.
• Develop responsive web interfaces with React and TypeScript.
• Build backend services and workflow automation using Python and Go.
• Work with databases, event-driven systems, and real-time data.
• Contribute to platforms for fleet ops, simulation, ML, data processing, CI/CD.
• Debug issues, improve reliability, performance, usability, observability.
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code; participate in reviews and deployments.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, autonomy and operations teams; learn new tech.
