Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Indianapolis, IN seeks a qualified full stack Django developer to advance ADMET workflow management tools for scientists.

You will build features for assay requests, plate definitions, sample tracking, and results analysis, while integrating APIs, designing PostgreSQL schemas, and driving CI/CD practices in enterprise-scale systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field with 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience building full stack Django applications in life sciences/biotech or similar R&D.
  • Active GitHub profile with public contributions demonstrating Python experience.
  • Relational database experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Django ORM, migrations, and model design.
  • Django REST Framework for API development.
  • Experience implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

  • AWS (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Compensation & Benefits (as stated):
  • Anticipated wage: $72,000 - $213,400.
  • Potential company bonus for full-time employees.
