Job summary

L3Harris is seeking candidates for its Engineering Leadership Development Program - Software Engineer. This three-year rotational track accelerates growth by exposing you to different program types, locations, and elements of the design life cycle, with mentorship and education support.

Participants work on embedded software for real-time control of advanced radios, using languages like C++, C#, Java and Python, across Windows, Linux, and RTOS environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or recent grad (≤12 months).
• Willingness to relocate every 12 months for 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Apply CS, engineering, and math concepts to software development for target applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design interfaces between hardware and software.
• Support all phases of SDLC for embedded real-time software in tactical radio systems.
• Develop test procedures, programs, and documentation.
• Use modeling tools to establish operating data and evaluate results.
• Participate in peer reviews and repair defects.
