• Hands-on experience with large SQL/NoSQL clusters like Elasticsearch or similar.
• Experience designing data models and building data platforms.
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data interface standards.
• Experience troubleshooting Elasticsearch performance and logs.
• DevOps experience with cloud/on‑prem infrastructures (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and multi‑priority task handling.
• Proficiency with Elasticsearch and related technologies; familiarity with build automation (Maven/Jenkins).

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Software Engineer will design, develop,configure,supportandmaintainElasticsearchclustersand support the development teams around that ecosystem.The ideal candidate is a hands‑on platform builder withsignificant experiencein developing scalable data platforms, with experience in business intelligence, analytics,datascienceand data products. They must have strong, firsthand technicalexpertisein a variety of configuration management and big data technologies and the proven ability to fashion robust scalable solutions that can manage large data sets.This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
• Minimum five(5)yearsof relatedElasticsearchexperience

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• Hands‑on experience working withlarge SQL or NOSQL database clusters such asElasticsearch,Greenplum,etc.
• Experience with designing data models, architecting data systems and standing up or supporting large data platforms.
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines and how tointerface withdata stores, and API endpoints.
• Experience troubleshootingElasticsearchcluster and query performance issues to include working on query optimization with developers and tracking down slow logs.
• DevOps experience building anddeploying cloudandon‑premiseinfrastructureswith technologies likeansible, chef, puppet,etc.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience withElasticsearchand related technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• SupportElasticsearchand/or Elastic Cloud for Kubernetes (ECK) clusters.
• Analyze,designand develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.

• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
