Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to real‑time processing solutions for radar and missile defense systems. You will work on a collaborative Agile team, translating requirements into robust architectures and delivering high‑quality code with thorough unit tests.

The role requires a U.S. DoD SECRET clearance and a strong background in Linux, software development, and integration across multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field with minimum 1 year related professional experience
• Experience with deploying and managing/administrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non‑represented full‑time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
