Job summary

Wellabe is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. The Software Engineer will use their technical and business knowledge to re-engineer business operations to improve business results.

This role will evaluate business requirements and model technical requirements in collaboration with product owner and their scrum team. This role will drive adoption of continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and be an advocate for automation of all processes done by their team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field. Combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Craft technical solutions with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and peers to meet business and technical requirements.
• Analyze technical system problems, then design and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning; provide work estimates to deliver product stories; own development stories.
• Support solution design, considering risks, mitigations, performance, UX, and testability.
• Handle end-to-end development, including coding, unit & integration testing, debugging, and source control.
