Software Engineer (Distributed Systems and Platforms)
Full-time, on-site or Remote, multiple positions

Our incident automation enables DevOps engineers to interactively debug at scale and quickly build remediations to eliminate repetitive work and minimize outages. As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on tools that empower SREs and operators in their tasks.

We are a small yet highly effective engineering team that cares about the product and each other.

As part of this team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

1. Build products that improve operational and SRE work, enhance availability, and reduce resolution times
2. Use modern development practices and gain exposure to various languages, platforms, and technologies
3. Influence the product and roadmap through organizational visibility

What you'll be doing:

1. Implementing a fault-tolerant distributed runtime for Shoreline Op, a language designed for operational debugging and automation
2. Integrating with platforms like Kubernetes and VMware, and cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, for automated resource discovery, monitoring, and management
3. Building systems capable of scaling to millions of nodes
4. Developing core products that run on customer machines to monitor and execute actions with minimal footprint, continually optimizing performance
