Job summary

Forus in New York City is seeking a Software Engineer, Developer Productivity to own the systems that determine how fast our entire engineering team ships. You will manage CI/CD, workflows, build systems, and developer environments that engineers rely on, enabling AI coding agents to operate in our codebase.

You will collaborate across the org to shrink toil, automate processes, and set standards for fast, reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building developer tooling and internal platforms.
• Strong systems and infrastructure instincts.
• Experience with AI-assisted development is a plus.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured solutions.
• Fast-moving, independent worker with high ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD and pipelines from commit to production.
• Build infrastructure for coding agents in our codebase.
• Automate toil, migrations, and dependency upgrades.
• Drive company-wide adoption of AI-assisted development.
• Define metrics for CI health and deployment frequency.
