Job summary

Raytheon is seeking software engineers in Massachusetts (Tewksbury) to join a fast-paced team supporting Battle Management, C2, and related systems. Onsite role with collaboration across disciplines, implementing and testing software for aerospace and defense applications.

You will participate in agile development, contribute to integration and testing, and work with modern toolchains including Azure, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
• Minimum of two (2) years of software programming experience in development, integration, and/or test using C++, C#, Java or similar OO language.
• Uphold strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.

We are looking to add software engineers to our development team for a wide array of products including Battle Management, Command & Control, Communications, Effectors, and Surveillance and Warning systems.

What You Will Do:

• Experience working in Agile environment such as Scrum, Scrum @ Scale, SAFe, Test-Driven Development, DevSecOps

• Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems
• Experience with integrated development tools such as Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible
• Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development pipeline
• Knowledge of Red Hat and/or Linux Operating Systems
• Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles

A salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
