Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for Strategic Defense. You will write code alongside elite peers to solve problems in networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more.

You will make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs to ensure products meet mission-critical outcomes in ambiguous situations. You will work with AI, Edge Hardware, Space Solutions, Networking, and Test Engineering teams to craft end-to-end systems that redefine mission success for major

Qualifications

3–8+ years writing production software in C++, Rust, Go, or Python.
End-to-end ownership of a feature or service including design, implementation and deployment.
Experience debugging problems in code you didn't write or systems you didn't design.
Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers (operators, hardware engineers, customers).

Responsibilities

Own software solutions deployed to customers at the edge of innovation and necessity.
Write code to improve robust C2 products and scale mission capabilities.
Collaborate across multiple engineering teams to plan, build, and test complex systems.
Partner with end-users to turn needs into features quickly while balancing UX and constraints.
Travel 10–30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.
