Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy complex software for mission-critical offensive cyber operations. You will apply SAFe Agile methodologies within cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure applications across the software lifecycle.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in software development, a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent, and proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript, plus Docker

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with TDD and automated testing
• Familiarity with Git and RESTful API design
• Linux/Unix environment proficiency
• US citizen with TS/SCI clearance w/ CI Polygraph
• Must be located in NCR or San Antonio area

Responsibilities

• Develop software features from user stories and acceptance criteria
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
• Implement automated unit and integration tests (minimum 80% coverage)
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming
• Support DevSecOps pipeline implementation and maintenance
• Develop microservices using containerization
• Integrate with government platform services and APIs
• Participate in SAFe ceremonies and team activities
• Assist troubleshooting and production issue resolution
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer
