Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle is hiring for a software engineer to build large-scale, low-latency conversational shopping experiences powered by LLMs within the Sponsored Products and Brands ads team. You will design, build, and operate distributed systems, integrate sponsored prompt experiences, and collaborate with product managers, scientists, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years designing or architecting new or existing systems.
Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate large-scale, low-latency distributed systems that power conversational ad experiences for hundreds of millions of Amazon shoppers
Build and integrate sponsored prompt experiences for shoppers and advertisers, leveraging LLMs to deliver relevant, personalized shopping content
Partner with product managers, applied scientists, and engineers to drive product and engineering initiatives end to end
Tackle challenging, novel situations and collaborate with multiple technical teams across Amazon
Write high-quality, maintainable code and participate in design and code reviews
Drive operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement
