HME—a leader in drive-thru and pro-audio solutions—seeks a Software Engineer in California. You will join a team to develop new software projects, implement tests from high-level designs, and document architecture for modules. You will also support sustaining engineering and help diagnose customer problems.

Qualifications include 0–3 years in web development, Node.js, Python, C#/.NET, C/C++, Linux, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure; Azure preferred). Strong communication and BA/BS degree required.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• 0–3 years of web development experience; cloud environment is a plus.
• Experience with server-side coding (Node.js) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Python and C#/NET, C/C++.
• Experience in Linux development and cloud-connected software.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure); Azure preferred.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new complex software projects within a team.
• Deliver work from high-level design and modeling tools.
• Document and review overall architecture and modules.
• Define and perform unit and system tests on components.
• Use debuggers, emulators, and test plans to validate software.
• Support Sustaining Engineering for existing products.
• Investigate customer problems as requested.
