Job summary

McKesson is seeking an experienced software engineer for a hands-on development role. You will build enterprise-scale applications using C#/.Net Core, Angular, and RESTful APIs, modernizing legacy systems with Azure cloud services.

The role requires strong collaboration with QA and Product teams, a focus on secure, scalable solutions, and active participation in Agile ceremonies. Hybrid work is available, with on-site days in the DFW region as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience in a team.
• Experience with C#/.Net Core back-end development.
• Experience with SQL Server 2012+ and frontend tech.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-scale OOP software using SaaS design principles.
• Modernize legacy products with cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Team to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Ensure secure, well-tested, and monitored system improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD processes.
