Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking a skilled software engineer in Houston to design, develop, test, and enhance enterprise software, leveraging AI capabilities and cloud services. You will collaborate with architects, data scientists, and product owners to align technology with business goals.

The role requires hands-on coding in NodeJs/Python/Java, experience with AWS services, Docker/Kubernetes, and strong REST API knowledge. Relevant production deployment experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS or related field is required
• 4+ years of relevant experience with software development
• 3 years of previous experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, and debug new software and enhance existing software
• Coordinate with business analysts and users to determine requirements
• Collaborate with Architects, Data Scientists, Product Owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Utilize AI capabilities in software development and day-to-day responsibilities
• Support and maintain ML engines for pre/post processing logic
• Review systems under development and related documentation
• Resolve customer issues and implement improvements
• Participate in software development using best practices
• Perform code reviews and assist in planning and implementation
