Job summary

Nimble Robotics in San Francisco is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build automation workflows and end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

You will push code to production, provide on-call production support, and measure performance bottlenecks in a fast-paced cloud environment. A Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience are required, with mentorship for junior engineers.

Strong knowledge of REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes and Docker is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 1 year of experience as Software Engineer, R&D Engineer, or related.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation workflows, write unit/integration/system tests, and conduct reviews for quality.
• Push and maintain code in production.
• Provide production support as needed.
• Measure and debug performance bottlenecks for product suite.
• Deliver end-to-end features across frontend, backend, CI, and infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers.

• Design and develop automation workflows, write unit/integration/system tests and conducting reviews to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded and effectively tuned for performance and quality
• Push and maintain code in production
• Be available for production support
• Measure and debug performance bottlenecks for a suite of products
• Be able to ship a feature end to end: frontend, backend, CI, infrastructure
• Be a mentor for junior engineers
