True Zero Technologies LLC is seeking an entry to mid-level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to assist in deploying virtual machines, storage, and networking components in a modern cloud environment.

The role requires foundational cloud knowledge, scripting skills, and the ability to work with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines while following security best practices and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Assist in deploying VMs, storage and networking components.
• Foundational cloud understanding across major providers.
• Track system performance using monitoring tools to ensure high availability.
• Identify, document and resolve minor infra issues.
• Write and maintain basic automation scripts.
• Apply security best practices for access control, firewalls and security groups.
• Collaborate with DevOps for deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and OS familiarity.
• Update technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Provide first-level cloud system support and log analysis.
• Learn and apply Terraform or Ansible for repeatable deployments.

• Assist in deploying and configuring virtual machines, storage (S3/Blob), and networking components (VPCs, subnets)
• Foundational understanding of at least one major cloud provider.
• Track system performance metrics using tools like AWS CloudWatch or Azure Monitor , ensuring high availability.
• Identify, document, and resolve minor technical issues or infrastructure errors.
• Write and maintain basic scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate routine tasks.
• Apply security best practices, such as managing user access, firewalls, and security groups.
• Work with developers and DevOps teams to support application deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and comfort working with Linux or Windows operating systems.
• Update technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Provide first-level support for cloud system issues, monitor network and application logs, and help resolve downtime.
• Write and maintain basic automation scripts using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Learn and apply tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage repeatable infrastructure deployments.

Position Requirements

• BA or BS degree, or at least 2-4 years of experience in related field
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to influence and collaborate with leadership, peers, and team members
• Approved to work in the United States
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Some hands-on experience with cloud architecture/engineering, services, migration, and security to include FedRAMP IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings
• Experience with Cloud-based Computer Network Defense (CND)
• Experience with cloud automation and scripting (Auto-scale, Azure Resource management, Scripting, PowerShell)
