Software Engineer (Clojure)

We will create seamless experiences for businesses to bring their data into the most powerful data management platform, at the heart of the data-driven AI revolution.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• The ability to express yourself fluently through software.
• A solid background in computer science, from academic achievements or up to five (5+) years of practical software development experience.
• Strong coding skills and an interest in Functional Programming Technologies, especially Clojure, along with Web development technologies like Typescript, JavaScript, and React. Experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis is also valued.
• Experience supporting 24/7/365 hosted services with high uptime.
• A problem-solving mindset and a continuous desire for knowledge and growth.
• Strong collaboration skills and a history of effective cross-team relationships.
• Interest or experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• A passion for understanding security from both a code and systems perspective is a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000 USD per year. Final compensation will depend on factors such as location, skills, education, and experience. Qlik provides a comprehensive benefits package.
