Software Engineer (Clojure)

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• The ability to fluently express yourself through software.
• A foundational background in computer science, from academic achievements or up to five plus (5+) years of practical software development experience.
• A robust coding skill set and a keen interest in Functional Programming Technologies, especially Clojure, along with Web development technologies such as Typescript, JavaScript, and React. Experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern database solutions like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis is also appreciated.
• Experience supporting 24/7/365 hosted services with multiple nines of uptime.
• A problem-solving mindset and a continuous thirst for knowledge and growth.
• Strong collaborative skills, with a history of building effective cross-team relationships.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• A passion for understanding security from both a coding and systems perspective is a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000 USD per year. Final compensation will depend on location, skills, education, experience, and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
