Job summary

AGCO seeks a Software Engineer for Machine Control – Chassis Dynamics in Jackson to develop embedded control software for drive-by-wire systems, including braking and steering. You will work on active suspension control loops and interface with electrical/mechanical teams, applying model-based methods and C programming.

You will design, review, and debug software, build test scenarios with engineers, and contribute to AGCO’s autonomy strategy across global platforms.

Qualifications

• Embedded software and system development with model-based approaches.
• Experience with CAN and vehicle bus systems, AUTOSAR and RTOS.
• Familiarity with version control (Git, SVN) and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 25119) and agile teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded control software for drive-by-wire systems.
• Debug and analyze vehicle data using CANoe/CANalyzer/CAPL tools.
• Develop machine control systems and define interfaces with other teams.
• Create test scenarios with test engineers and automate workflows.
• Integrate modules from internal and external suppliers and document interfaces.
