Job summary

Litera is hiring a Software Engineer in a hybrid Denver role. You will work with a team delivering AI-driven legal tech solutions, translating product goals into executable prompts, and ensuring safe, observable, compliant systems.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications, collaborate across product, QA, and UX, and own data-import workflows. Expect growth opportunities in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development experience.
• Proficient in SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs.
• Familiarity with modern web tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
• Strong prompt engineering and written communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling in Azure or GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Translate product goals into LLM-driven, actionable prompts.
• Implement LLM safety, logging, and policy compliance.
• Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable applications/services.
• Write clean, documented code aligned with standards.
• Collaborate with Product Management and QA.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile practices and improve processes.
• Own data warehouse code for imports from various systems.
• Scale existing code and explore platform modernization.
