Job summary

Swift is seeking a software professional to design, develop, test, install, and support programs in line with requirements. You will analyze requirements, prepare specs, and deliver solutions with senior guidance. Mentorship to junior staff and documentation duties are included.

The role emphasizes C/C++ and Linux, with exposure to gRPC, Tuxedo, and PL/SQL. We're looking for 1–4 years of related experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–4 years of C/C++ experience.
• 1–4 years of Linux (RHEL).
• Scripting with one of: KSH, Python, Perl.
• Oracle PL/SQL programming with ability to write efficient SQLs.
• Develop code using technologies including C++, Boost, gRPC, Tuxedo, Multithreading, PL/SQL, Unix, Linux, Python and XML.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, install and support programs/systems per requirements.
• Assist with analysis of requirements and recommended system approaches.
• Prepare specifications, codes, tests, results, acceptance criteria, time frames.
• Prepare and study technical feasibility and estimates of proposed systems solutions.
• Analyze problems and propose solutions to senior team members.
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to colleagues.
• Develop and maintain user documentation and present to customers.
• Provide timing estimates to project lead and propose corrective actions.
