Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies in Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior Software Lead to own the design, development, testing, and maintenance of complex software across the full lifecycle. You will translate customer requirements into solid architectures and drive system integrations and performance improvements.

You will lead architecture documentation, tool selection, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• 4+ years in C/C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada and 4+ years in architectures, interfaces, and designs for software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
• Coordinate development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products for systems integrations.
• Lead documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, interfaces and designs for software products.
• Debug and resolve issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Lead handling of user inquiries, troubleshooting, and feedback analysis.
• Investigate and implement current technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software development.
• Oversee development, monitoring and improvement of software processes, tools and KPIs aligned with goals and benchmarks.
• Lead R&D projects and documentation of software research and development.

• Leads review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products.
• Coordinates the development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
• Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
• Debugs and leads resolution of issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Leads handling of user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues and user feedback analysis.
• Leads research and implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development.
• Leads development, establishment, monitoring and improvement of software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
• Leads execution and documentation of software research and development projects.
• Consults on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations.
• Leads software project management activities and software supplier management functions.
• Leads tracking and evaluation of software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government which requires U.S. Citizenship
• 4+ years of experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
• 4+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
