Your contributions are…
- Develop Python applications to extract, transform, and process data from various unstructured and semi-structured sources
- Build and maintain REST APIs that make transformed data accessible to frontend applications and other services
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into robust backend solutions
- Write clean, well-documented code that handles edge cases and scales with growing data volumes
- Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable data flow
- Engage in team discussions about user needs and begin identifying patterns in how data could better serve them
- Participate in code reviews and actively seek feedback to improve your engineering skills

Requirements for your new career…
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 3 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python programming with understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Basic understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and other data formats
- Understanding of software development best practices including version control (Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and ask clarifying questions
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn from team members

Salary range: $100,000 - $160,000
