Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Software Engineer (Backend) for 100% onsite in Tempe, AZ to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native microservices. You will own backend architecture, build REST APIs, and leverage AWS serverless technologies and containers.

The role requires 6+ years of experience and a strong grasp of Agile practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design, performance tuning, and platform modernization while driving technical excellence across the engineering

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience building scalable web applications and APIs.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Expertise designing and building microservices architectures.
• Experience with AWS, including cloud-native and serverless technologies.
• Strong experience with MongoDB, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, containers, Docker, and modern development practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
