Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a backend focus to join our Tempe team in a hybrid role. You will design and build serverless backend services in AWS, develop RESTful APIs in Python, and contribute to React front-end work.

The role combines hands-on coding with architectural ownership, collaborating across product, QA, and operations to deliver scalable, cost-efficient cloud solutions at scale in a fast-moving, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2–8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, S3, API Gateway).
• Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building modern front-end applications with React/ReactJS (Nice to have).

SENIOR FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER – BACKEND FOCUS

$120,000 – $145,000 BASE + BONUS + BENEFITS

The Opportunity

This role sits at the center of a fast-moving engineering team responsible for powering customer-facing applications (leasing, payments, maintenance) and internal systems. You’ll design and build scalable, serverless backend services in AWS while contributing to modern React-based front-end applications.

This is a hands-on senior IC role with strong ownership across cloud architecture and application development.
