The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our core engineering team. In this role, you won't just be maintaining legacy systems; you will be designing, building, and scaling security software for multiple products.

What You'll Do

• Build & Scale: Design and implement robust, high-performance backend services and APIs for our Zero Trust Security Fabric.
• Own Features: Take ownership of features from architectural design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Optimize Performance: Write clean, concurrent, and highly efficient code capable of running seamlessly at the network edge and in the cloud.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with product management, security researchers, and front-end teams to deliver frictionless user experiences without compromising security.
• Elevate the Team: Participate in code reviews, share technical insights, and help maintain high engineering standards.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-grade backend code.
• Language Proficiency: Strong experience in Golang is desirable. Alternatively, deep expertise in systems-level or backend languages like C++, Rust, Java, or Python , combined with a strong desire to pivot to Go.
• Distributed Systems: A solid understanding of concurrency, asynchronous programming, and building scalable distributed applications.
• CS Fundamentals: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• The Startup Mindset: Comfort with ambiguity, a bias for action, and the ability to adapt quickly as our product and team scale.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes , and cloud-native ecosystems.
• A background or strong interest in cybersecurity concepts (cryptography, PKI, OAuth, IAM, Zero Trust).
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, gRPC, MQTT).
• Experience working with IoT, OT (Operational Technology), or industrial control systems.
• Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 p/yr + Equity
• We will process visa transfers and immigration
• Work with founders and executives closely and participate in all aspects of company building
